c8 game is worth watching imo

Why are there only bullshit ctf maps in ql? All the new ones totally suck in my opinion. Nail/chaingun/mines are a joke beyond belief as well. I loved playing ctf so much in q3 and the maplist was phenomenal. Just to name a few: wcp9, wcp5, wcp1, w2, w3, w7.
These new pissy maps dont even compare..

There's only a nailgun on c8 and I think it's alright.

w2 and ctf2 are still played (arguably these are among the worst ones from q3ctf, however) and c7 e.g. is way better than p5. But yeah, I also miss p1, p9, w3 and p22.

Apparently id can't get these old maps though, so they should at least introduce 1 good new one in oder to get rid of c3.

C7 is arguably better than any Q3 CTF map. On maps like C8 and remakes of C10 I completely agree tho, very defensive and extremely boring maps.

C10 is fucking boring, so defensive with typically low scorelines. C8 is very good imo and always seems to produce good games.
