Hi there,

So i'm bored waiting for the non-24hour Tesco to open (i need to buy some mushrooms to make spaghetti bolognaise!!), so i decided to quickly update the config pack that was on my old site since i updated a couple of things for myself, and host it with www.levelupyourgame.net

So what's included?: //////////////////////

Quake Live:
- Player Config (Autoexec.cfg)
- Custom HUD
- Player Custom crosshair
- Streaming Config (Streaming.cfg)

lvl^'s livestream has the clearest quality I've seen now, even better than what you guys had before.

(I do most of my stream-watching while at work and I can't get things like ESLtv, holysh1t or GTV, etc., but livestream isn't blocked so I watch that. Even other QL channels on livestream aren't as clear, so props to you for that.)

in your QL player cfg, you have "bind alt "+use"- is that the same as +button2?

(Edit: NM about the "+use" question, but you do have alt bound to it and to +button2. Don't know if its on purpose or not tho =) )

r_mapoverbrightbits is listed twice

Do you keep a steady 125fps using enablepostprocess? Everytime I enable it, my FPS cuts in half.

Also what is up with the "fast sky for CTF7 teleport fix"? Never heard of that before.

I got this mostly for the HUD. Awesome. Thanks.

Yea the double commands are just mistakes as i've organised it and forgotten to delete specific parts, cheers for the heads up.. i'll edit those tommorow

the fast sky script is an old bind, it was usefull previously when i had fast sky (black) set on as default, i'd need to turn it off to see through portals (they arn't actually teleporters as i've written), such as on qzdm7 and qzctf7, else they were matt grey when combined with vertex lighting. You can just go ahead and remove it i guess.

Nps about the hud, i basically stole it all from other huds though :P

if I find more I'll let ya know. Seems I found another after I posted.

I never had fastsky on anyway, so I didn't use it. I basically just wanted your HUD and your vid settings cause I like the way it looks on livestream, so I'm gonna give them a try.

enablepostprocess is linked to all the post processing now, including the bloom stuff. so the drops in fps is prolly cos u have all the bloom stuff on.

I set enablepostprocess to 0, as well as all bloom-related ones. The only one left at 1 is colorcorrection, but that's because I forgot to put it to 0 today too.

My only change was to use

loadMenu { "ui/crosshair_1024x768.menu" }

in the nvc2.cfg
