this is an work of art 9/10, deducted one because you could have stopped intro before the intro song ends, becomes a bit tiring.

Warning: this is not a frag/defrag movie, this is the kind of artistic splendor arenas series would have tried to reach but never did.

Very nicely done, enjoyed the retro, b/w nostalgia style a lot. Albeit maybe a tad too much of an architecture study. Those beautiful reds brought a tear to my eye though, as they reminded me of them days when the game had some real artistic value to it.

Appreciated the brief flash of da Vinci too, surely the right context to place the game into hahahaha

A tad bit too pointless, imo.

I mean, it's not a frag movie, as there are no frags (well, ok, maybe there are two), doesn't have a plot or any kind of coherence to be qualified as machinima... it just has some random, seemingly unrelated elements, that fail to come together.

Other than that i enjoyed the noir atmosphere, editing, music selection and the style in general. I only wish it would paint a comprehensive picture.

Only because of the 50's-ish song being played. I gather the author wanted to recreate the feel of the Fallout intro cinematics, the ones with Ron Perlman narrating.

Still, the noir graphics and the retro music fit together nicely, i think.

Agreed. And it was more of a 1930's retro cos 50s would have been more jazzy/ rock and roll'y (think marlon brando in that motorbike film which made him famous). While 30s is more reminiscent of big band blues type of music (Think Mafia game c: ). And yes, good combo. Within those 7 minutes, more of a story could have been told though. I did like it despite it being slightly artsy.
