We'll see just how godly Messi is in the second leg. I'm actually glad Inter took this game, it sets up the stage for awesome drama. Chances are this will be the most spectacular, nerve wrecking game of the season. Here's hoping.
deserved win - wesley, maicon, milito, zanetti and overall game were great.
thumbs down go to Alves who is the world heavyweight champion in diving. (iniesta is also a specialist, messi too ) and to balotelli who didn't even bother to sprint
Anyway, it's still open though inter shall make it.
Dude, Messi and Iniesta almost never dive. And I don't say never just because every player does it sometimes, but those two stand dribling after getting kicked by several players, each of them giving them a chance not to dive, but to reclaime a fair foul. You're absolutely right on Alves, tho.
Busquets is the worst diver I've ever seen, if you even so much as touch him he's rolling around as if he's been hit by a massive metal pole to the ribs.
Barca never got going, thought it was a nailed on penalty in the end though even if Alves helped him self down a bit.. Sneijder has to be the worst tackler ever to play on a pro level.. So reckless.
Not a clear penalty and certainly not a clear offside. And like Magician said, Milito was incorrectly flagged at the beginning of the game. If anything, it could have been 4-1.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAZFWK-tlyc check 1:36, it's not as clearly an offside as some make it out to be. Besides Milito was clearly incorrectly flagged in the beginning of the match when it would have been a clear goal.
Doubt it was due to diving though, Italian/Portuguese teams seem to get away with the most outrageous dirty play so it was just probably Portuguese refereeing (Just like English refs don't mind leg breaking tackles as long as the leg doesn't break).
