So to cut a long story short, the headset I'm currently using has joined the (ever increasing) scrapheap.
I seem to go through headsets fairly often. Honestly can't explain why, but small things will happen to just piss me off (one headphone will stop working, microphone stops working, cracking sounds, sudden crappy quality...). Try as I might to fix them, it often doesn't last long and it's just a constant distraction (NOT good)

So, can anyone suggest a headset that will last or at least has a fucking long warranty?

I've already gone through cheaper Sennheiser PC1XX series, Steelseries Siberia (V2), Logitechs and various no-name shitty ones.

The only ones that last (surprise, surprise) are audio recording/production headphones (IE, Audio Technica's or Sennheiser's recording ones etc) but they don't have a microphone and I don't particularly want to use an external microphone - it's a pain in the ass (inb4 jokes about - well don't stick it up there then)

So, if you've used a headset that's lasted, that's good value for money or has a warranty, post it here. If you also have the same problem as me and have ever breaking headsets, feel free to rant as well.
