better imo, cause you have a selection process for the heroes.

But spectator firendly they are not.

play 2 weeks and they are very spectator friendly..
is suck at it.. but watching games like the ones on www.honcast.com is cool

played around 50-100 games.
Plus quite a lot of dota with firends before that.

I don't think it's very spectator friendly, in early game it's easy to miss a kill cause there are three points to focus on and later with 10 heroes in the same spot with say 30 active spells it's hard to follow all the details.
Yeah, it's easy to follow the game and see which side is doing better, but it is hard to follow the details. Especially, if the spectators have not played many games and know the items and the skills of all the heroes.

Games take too long as well.

Nah, with wow you at least have more options for each class, with hon\dota all that's left is teamwork and game-knowledge.

I would say there are a lot of things you can chose in Hon/dota.

sure you'll need a tank and a support and a dps guy, so you are restricted in some way, but somehow I doubt wow would work without a dps hero and a healer.

That's knowledge. Now, once you know that, at max., 4 builds for a hero to use, you end up with the ability to run in all directions and cast the 4 different spells + use some usable items, in wow you at least have 50 or so useable spells to choose from.
Both are pretty shit, anyways :)

HoN is much better competitively than WoW because that is what it's made to be. You can do a lot more creative stuff that isn't broken in terms of balance in HoN.

It's made to be the most spectator-friendly and comfortable version of DotA and still falls within the limitations of the gametype. I honestly don't think that you can create much with four skills * 5.

I still find it too boring to follow, I'm just saying it's better than WoW.
The creativity can come before the game in your pick strategy. More focused tactics are more unique and using a skill at the right time matters a lot more. In WoW your just spamming CC rotations and damage spells until a call to blow all your 1-3 minute CDs.
