add cg_gunz -10; cg_gunx -10; cg_guny 2 to your lg bind if you play without the wep otherwise it'll fill the whole screen.

cg_lightningstyle 4 with cg_gunz -10; cg_gunx -10; cg_guny 2 is 10x better than cg_lightningstyle 4.
5 could be good if it didn't fill the whole fucking screen even with wacky gun offsets.

do you also use drawgun 2? i prefer that with the setting above.

yup. drawgun 2 for the lg, 1+ standard offset for the gauntlet, 0 for the other weps.
