probably because mistakes lead to more action in a map like dm13 whereas you would just see +back and lots of spam from the person who is not in control for a game where there aren't many mistakes?
Edit: yeah you could say that for all maps but atleast other maps force those +back moments to be more entertaining. Rail gets into play for maps like ztn which is always entertaining and maps like t9 are too "tight" to actually play +back completely because you get sandwiched. Only dm13 has the unique advantage for you to completely play the +back game and not get punished for it if you play your cards right in my opinion.
Oh I am not arguing with that. I am just saying that the downtime of dm13 can be considerably lower compared to other maps and alot of people (including me) get bored of it. For me it doesn't matter that I know that the player not in control is biding his time and has to wait 2-3 mins to make a move, doesn't make it more entertaining.
Usually during that time you watch the player thats in control to see all the tricks he is trying to pull off to make a frag, which can be highly entertaining :)
Sometimes yes, but alot of times he will just get denied a proper attack and get back to item running and wait for the next gap in the other player's defense.
But yeah it depends on the player. You vs avek would be alot more fun to watch compared to say, Rapha vs if-22 :D
Yeah, it was obvious, but the results were hilarious, exciting, and generally enjoyable to watch, so not a problem. I don't think I'd want to watch this sort of thing very often but I'm glad I did this time.
