- Paul is never wrong, except in the finals.
- The prince of Spain is there, he only was there against Switzerland.
- The referee is the same one than in the Switzerland game.
- Jamerio tipped Holland for the win, and poor people get lucky sometimes.
You think doing this kind of crap in fooball is funny? Is isnt. It can happen, but if It make dutchs think theyre very brave because they pull this shit on football i will be unable to stop rofling? He can try at the UFC and see how much he lasts.
Anyone who saw Germany's games has to hand it to them. To me, they were the most athletic team in this world cup. Their games had some spectacular chases, steals and possession along with keeping their mental game intact (even with long passes, the strikers made sure they were never offside).
lol, finally the world gets to see how shit Webb really is. Joke of a referee, always uses the small incidents to stamp his authority but when a real call has to be made he wimps out and lets it go.. Happens every game.
Whatever vikings that still cant block their tribal heritage and achieve the quality needed to be one of the selected world cup champion countries. Football isnt only about physical strength, but class.
so far all you have managed to achieve is destroying many sympathies for Uruguay.
I was actually cheering for them in their group games, cause I watched the game vs. France with some friends in a bar with an owner from Uruguay. We were invited to watch their cause one of my friends come from there originally.
But you managed to single-handedly cool that off pretty damn good, despite all thresholds. Congratulations!
I'm amazed to read some comments claiming our players dived. I've not seen such amount of dirty fouls since a long time ago. Netherlands should have been down to 9 players at minute 20 of the first half.
Netherlands did have some harsh fouls but that position where 3 spanish players floored themselves by the NED goal line consecutively and cried for penalty was not exactly oscar material either.
Yeah dont get me wrong that flying kick was epic and he will have stud marks to boast about it later.
But i mean the general stomp on the foot is sore but you dont go down crying like a little bitch.
Or perhaps they just have a small pain threshold and cry easily.
:/
The referee made extreme bad mistakes. The referee destroyed the game. An bad day for football fans.
Spain deserved it more to win. Robben should have scored. If we don't have the ability to make these chances then we don't deserve to win. Germany- Uruguay was more interesting, but they weren't playing under pressure.
Who says I'm looking for excuses? I can't bother that a bunch of millionaires can't play like professionals while there are Africans right around the corner dying of hunger. There are more important things in life like that.
The referee made a lot of mistakes like not giving a red card to de jong like you said but many mistakes in other situations too, but I'm not saying that Spain didn't deserve to win. In fact they deserved it, we were playing dirty but look at both sides.
Question: did you think the ref was good?
How am I trolling? You don't agree with what exactly?
And yes, I agree Puyol should be red carded, but before him Van Bommel, De Joeng and Sneijder also should have been. Of all NL players Heitinga was probably the one deserving it the less, because at least he wasn't violent, but still was deserved. In the video you link Heitinga holds him by the back, this is a yellow card by all rules, and if they considered Heitinga the last man it would have been a red one.
I thought the most of the Dutch team were actually fine, robust sure, but nothing you wouldn't see in a clean EPL or even Ligue Un game, it was just van Bommel and de Jong are complete thugs and take it to another level.
Take RvP's tackle that got him a yellow, he was playing the ball there was nothing malicious, it wasn't even dangerous just slightly late and he pretty much didn't do any other fouls the whole game.
Or Gio, Kuyt and van der Wiel, they were all fine for the most part.
They were pretty hard in general. More than a typical tought game. I mean, they frequently entered to hit the ankle or stomp the foot. Ok, they weren't bone breaking attempts as De Joeng's or Bommel's, but they tried to inflict damage further than just stopping the player on the smaller fauls too (besides, tv replays ignored quite a lot one made by Sneijder to Busquets with the tackles to the inner side of the knee which was pretty awful too).
I really don't have a problem with teams who play with the rules making a lot of fouls, loosing time, etc. But when they try to inflict pain is a different story for me.
It reminded me a lot a Barcelona-Real Madrid from 2 seasons ago, when all Real Madrid players took turns to make damage on Messi's ankle. They didn't want to injure Messi, but they wanted him feeling pain so he was scared of dribbling. Was the most degrading Real Madrid game I've ever seen.
EDIT: Of course, I don't mean every one of them. I don't remember Kuyt doing any specially bad intended one. But many of them were, and not just once.
EDIT2: In fact, I don't find De Joeng's kungfu-kick one as bad as the little to-the-ankle ones. Because I don't see how De Joeng can do that intentionally, since it would be obvious to any player (and any other referee) that it would be an instant red card. I think De Joeng wasn't just thinking at all at that moment.
I thought Sneijders on Busquets was the worst of the lot, clearly went for the player, studs up, not even looking at the ball and then he had the gall to feign injury...
The people in that video are probably convinced that the winner gets to choose the sport for the next WC. Besides, they're probably foreigners living here.
The dutch did play a dirty game. But Spain? Their game was a joke too. TBH, the way both sides played (kicking and diving), none of them deserved to score a goal in 90 minutes + injury time + extension.
I wanted it to go down to penalties so that the fucking drama would be over for good before someone died on the pitch with a flying kick.
This Spain is just like the Greece from 2004. With some subtle changes. Both teams play anti-football. Everything won 1-0, with some random ass goals. Like an ugly corner against Germany, lmao.
Also, both sides played nasty, the Dutch maybe a bit more, but I'm tired of everyone praising the Spanish as if they are some holy team because they received some kicks. They were just the lucky ones in this match. Also, your team is very good at diving and crying and whining for cards.
But then again, the Dutch played pretty lame too. This game was unworthy of a final, however, it was a battle until the end. Uruguay vs Holland or Uruguay vs Germany were some pretty good games with nice goals.
