I don't participate in these type of things, so maybe this is not a problem for people who do. But imho

bo3 with 20 minute tdm matches, thats potentially a hour for each match. Teams reaching the finals potentially playing 4 hours of quake non stop with barley any breaks. With the inevitable delays finals could end well after 1:00 cest.

I can foresee some problems, maybe make it 2 maps and team with best frag difference over 2 maps advances?

even with the delays it should finish around 00:00 cest. Unless some major delays occur. and Its 4 rounds, should be ok for most of the teams.

This is TDM we're talking about. 'Delay' should be added as a definition for TDM...gl tho, I hope you are spared this curse :)

we can make bo1 until semis and then bo3 for the final 2 rounds. that would be better for teams I suppose.

Depends how many signup really. At least can we have an map elimination system rather then a map picking system.

if that's the case then no ca2, it's no fair on the team that's forced to remove it.

higher seed can choose who picks first. So they either elim the map they dont want or pick the map to be played.

After the way Sweden utterly demolished Front I didn't think there would be a clan in the world that could play close with them, let alone beat them. And 4k did just that with some amazing teamplay.

Their biggest fail today was to replace dash with avek.

But even then these semi pickup teams have no chance vs teams that actually practice their teamwork. Great individual players does not a great team make, same with fnatic really.

Maybe they did, but playing good vs an unorganized team is easy. Playing good and smooth vs the atm best tdm team is something different.

Casting was good , slow in parts but very good and entertaining in others, you should employ more scousers.... :D

Dunno if that was you or who ever but shouldn't be picking sides when casting imo and those "oh no no no" 's were somewhat annoying :)

Quite difficult to watch a "serious" game when you hear an accent like that :)

ye prolly me, I like to think as the player I'm speccing (aka what he should do and if he fails then I pick his side in saying smth that it's too bad for him). But I dunno if that's picking sides I think I did the same for both teams...
But I usualy watch the team who is behind more than the team in control because the play of the guys in control is usualy less relevant than what the guys out of control are trying to do.

Most people underestimate 4K, since it "lacks" the big names. Foppa also said to me, seedings are wrong, and I said to him, 4K deserve no.1 seeding at the moment. With a team coordinator like dk, and pure teamplayers like Krysa and Jocko, and non the less practice, practice, practice they had, 4K is the biggest scalp out there at the moment. : )

And never forget, teamwork is the keyword!

Dash I thought .se 1st seed, 4kings 2nd seed, we 3rd, lulz 4th, and we play 1/2 vs 4kings, but seems that I was wrong, 4kings > se.

We won 4kings in ofic game, we won metsu in ofic. game, we won skzi in ofic. game, we won +exec in ofic game, we won xt in ofic game, we won iM in ofic. game, we won k1ck in ofic game, we won r2l in ofic game. We also won all the good TDM teams in pcw's. We quit CB, cos we have no motivation for this league (we did't loose a single game there). We where kicked from EMS5 cos of Yuka, and dropped out of EMS6 cos did't have players around in spring. We lost 3 ofic games. VS Metsu (with not best lineup), vs +exec (with zcn, cos lack of players), and vs .se. I don't see any reason not putting us as 3rd seed in this tourney exept stupid hating. .se was gr8 against us yesterday, purri played awesome. Anyway av3k can do much better, and all knows it, he had no voice yesterday and he was not at home...

So basically, you've not done anything bar win some one-off games and bottle various tournaments.

You had to play 4Kings in CB playoffs so the loss of motivation was understandable i guess :)

We won them before, we dropped out not cos we where afraid, only cos cooller/avek went inactive.

Ye like 6 months ago where u played with toplineup, we missed v3rb.
Scores were like qzdm6 146-150 (FL) / qzdm7 166-164 (4K) / qzdm20 155-162 (FL).
FL dropped CB because they had no lineup to play vs us and u were acting like a bitch (frozen).
Quote "Should i call cooller?" still got the CB warchannel-log xD

As I can see u win all without both v3rb and zik, so what the problem? 4K lineup was: krysa, jck, dk, zik (Is it a weak one? I don't think so). This cup 4kings won with inactive anak1n, without both zik and v3rb. I do not say that we are better then 4kings in TDM, I just don't like the way ppl forgets all so fast. I remember the times, u was not happy with your team, after practice games vs us. Nowdays 4kings > all, and u start to be a big mouth. Not a good way to act.

Who cares about your sneaky logs? Cooller was not around, and I did't want to play wihtout him with manager in team, sorry, never seen 4K with doz3r in main matches. And It's u who acted like a bitch, u wanted us to play that day, did't give us a chance to move date. And if u want to talk about some logs, better remember, what did u tell me about your team, when it was not good times for u.

the only reason our pickup/0-practice lulz team lost to 4K (with like 15 frags difference both maps), winner of the tourney, was because they had linkin in their lineup tbh, who had significantly better net than the rest of 4kings... :)

your game vs Front on dm14 was insane. There were periods were you wouldn't die for like 5/6 minutes, which is crazy for quakelive tdm on that level.

Thanks. Yeah both maps against Front went well for me but also the whole team played with more determination and most of all with more communication than in our 1st and last game... For me personally I think this TDM Cup would have been better to be played in 2 nights, due to the very long gaming session last night, but it was very fun nevertheless :)
