We're back again after a bit of a break. I was a little busy getting ready for the International Video Games Hall Of Fame event this past week, which was amazing. I had the most fun I've ever had at any event EVER. Besides all the fun everyone had, there was a ton of controversy based around the new update that ID released during the event and the new info on the pricing of the game. There was also quite a bit of drama between id threatening to ban Slasher and DJWheat from the servers while casting and chance and dkt getting into it on stream.
We also just talk about a lot of things that happened at the event and get ready for QuakeCon this next weekend. Whose going and whose not. Is QuakeCon losing appeal in its hardcore competitive community? We discuss. Also, be sure to check out our Frag Documentary contest at the bottom of the post.

AFAIK they have always had a reputation for running their events in a manner that promoted fun over cut throat competition. I certainly never held qcon titles in the same regard as I did for the more competitive and international lans like eswc and wcg. Anyway, do they atleast pay out?
