got this monitor used like a year ago and up until now it really hasn't bothered me much, however now it does. whenever something really dark is on the screen, say just a black wallpaper, the screen automatically adjusts the brightness down. once i open for example an empty, white browserpage the screen once again automatically adjusts the brightness.

does anybody know how to turn this off? i can't figure it out...
