Everyone knows that sometimes to deny an opponent health, you have to pick up health bubbles yourself.
However, if your health is over 100, you can not pick up 25h or 50h bubbles, so you will often have to damage yourself using plasma or a rocket to be able to deny your opponent health. Shooting yourself means damaging yourself(wich is nullified by the health pickup), but it will also take away some of your armor.
Now, I thought of the following script:
alias +handilame "handicap 99"
alias -handilame "handicap 100"
bind <key> "+handilame"
So that when you hold <key>, your health will start decaying to 99(and so will your armour).
Eliminating the need to shoot yourself, and thus preserving armour.
Has anyone ever tried this? Would this be cheating?
In my opinion, it will be unfair seeing as most players are unlikely to make such a script themselfs, or stumble upon it.
Discuss.
