Sounds like you're into high sens. Have a look at Logitech G3.

G3 looks pretty nice, however, seems to be another tough to find mouse. Even harder to find than a Salmosa (and twice the price!)

It's a question of whether you like the shape or not. I addore it. I read that it has problems with different mousepads, but I wasn't able to make it skip on my goliathus speed.

Yup, the shape is perfect I like the ambidextrous shape, not a forced shape (like the MX518).

the pros use small cheap logitech opticals. apparently you need something you can claw grip.

Unfortunately, the cheap logitechs don't have high enough DPI, the whole reason i want to use another mouse is because i have to pixel skip. :(

Get Razer Abyssus its same shape weight as Salmosa except prediction and light on the back. 3500 dpi is enough for you I guess :D

3.5G sensor..

I tried it and returned it, sensor swayed left and right when moving the cursor forward and back.

Good size and weight though.

Shame companies dont make mice which fits players like us :))
Then try Diamondback 3g if you can get somewhere. :<
There is Sidewinder X3 which is good mouse but Laser.
Or final option woul be EC2 if you want optical.
Shape is not that bad I guess gonna try it when it release in UK.
