I think I liked it better before all these new maps

I think battleforged isn't as bad when it first came out but aerowalk, well....it's fast paced but too aim based. People's complaint against T9 was that there wasn't much to do. Just rush rush rush....Isn't aerowalk the same except there's a rail and multiple teleporters.

Never understood the Battleforged hate. We see ZTN games as +backy and boring as some BF games yet Blood Run has been around a shit ton longer. If players actually practiced the damn map and some things like sound etc were edited on it, it'd be a good map. It's certainly provided some of the cooler matches at Quakecon when both players weren't clueless on it.

If ZTN were released now and wasn't in previous versions of Quake, I'd go so far as to say that some players would complain because it would be "too defensive" and "omg it's too fuckin large" or something stupid.

Of course, we all know it's not the case since we've all had plenty of experience of routes, strategies and various rocket jumps etc. that mean that it can be either defensive and slow or fast and frag-worthy. BF could easily be the same (and has been in some matches)

edit: wouldn't say replace dm13 with dismemberment though. Nothing wrong with dm13. Infact it's one of the best maps in the pool and replacing it for the sake of replacing it with a 'new' (read: old) map is a bit bleh

u can hardly consider it old since it has been totally modified .
i like dm13 aswell but well... i d rather remove ztn but its just not gonna happen anytime soon :(
