Your video consists of regular frags against random nubs, nothing remotely spectacular or impressive. If this is the trailer and you're already scraping the bottom of the barrel for good frags, that doesn't bode well for the full movie.

You haven't edited anything, just a series of frags one after the other. Plus I feel like I'm seeing the same frag over and over again. Put some effort into it. Watch some good vids by the guys from Han Sai, Temporal Productions, etc to see how it's done.

The quality is pretty good 650mb, But as you said youtube makes everything shitty.

Don't use the same frag on the same map for 3mins.
Don't use mediocre frags.
Don't use mediocre frags vs. mediocre players.
Don't use your ingame-cfg.
Try to actually edit the movie.

Ye i agree, I tried to test some effects but it just ended ut looking really wierd and ugly. so i decided to not use many effects.

My big movie will probably have some more effects, Im learning quickly how to use sony vegas.

After reading the comments first, I thought it was going to be utter shit..

Anyway hear are my thoughts :

1) The config isn't that bad.
2) Music was aweful.
3) Frags were average.
4) No theme or gimmick so it was pretty boring.
5) Quality wasn't as bad as others I've seen.

Go on youtube and watch some old q3/ql frag movies. Most of the best ones are synced with the music and have a certain style or theme running through it.

Awesome frags help's too but that could be tricky with Q4 being your game of choice.

its shit to q43a, and all the recode of projectile.cpp, shoot a projectile at a skybox on a dedicated server and it just bounces off

in q43a partial prediction comes into play and it gets removed but no worse then some lagged MG impact decals etc, all projectiles are 100% serverside including rails "hitscans", all the original hitscan code is removed, and now use idHitscanProjectie spawnclass

hitscans are not a tracepoint, each "bullet" etc that used to use hitscans is an actual entity with physics, just like a rocket, but scan speed is defautl so you wont see it, but can be overriden

and everything else recoded etc = try it, its the only way to know the affect it all has on a game

the q43a server in the top few posts is up for atleast 1 more month, so your time to try it, on a international dedicated linux, unrelease build of q43a, blah blah blah

My freezelags were worse then not playing in 6-9 months, I had freezelags were i couldnt move or see anything for 3-5 seconds and i got them every 30sec-1min.
