4K & FRONT are definitely good teams but you and your team mates building up this website didn't contribute at all to their success. 4K is being carried by krysa & zik, and FRONT by abso. Too bad those players didn't take part in this project, that would have made it way more interesting.

Could be or not, but why is it important if someone is top notch or just good or oldschool or whatever. In the end I dont know how well dk or the other authors play but I expect they might play well enough to give a hint or two to the fraction of the players that eventually started recently or try hard for years without much success.

yes tdm very tactical only basic guide in dk dm14 map learning guide its very much more tactical shoot rail there kill enemy hard tactics :D take ra go there jump up and down dodge rocket :P rail and tactical hehee :D

1. Have good aim
2. Camp the area with the most armor/health with someone standing at each entrance
3. Stay away from said area or only attack in unison if enemy has it locked down
4. Turn up for powerup
5. PROFIT

don't play tdm down, you might have found a point, but you could even summarize ctf that way (player 1 camps flag and RA/MH, player2 camps base, player 3 camps mid and sometimes supports player4 who rj's around enemy base)


to me it seems you ignore maps other than dm14/dm7


I'm neither ctf'er nor tdm'er, but look at other maps (I personally like dm6 in 4v4 and find dm6 a good counter example with lg, rail and rocket control)

rox control is a part of the RA control on dm6

i am happy if someone is up to help. its to be honest pretty much time to spend in. the site isnt done yet and wont be ready in the next few weeks / month. the plan is starting with the basic shit and expanding it from time to time... more help = faster done.

One is a very old ctf clan, with like ranger and people in it, dates right back to the iqs - cn days.

Ye! I'm shouting it! As a matter of fact, it's only about what you call professional. There are only few teams competing on the highest level in QL TDM. As far as I know, I'm playing for one of them, dk also. It's not even possible to do TDM for a living, or go to LAN events, because 90% of QL tournaments are duel tournaments only. So pls tell me, who do you want to write a TDM guide? Rapha? Cypher? Write your own Clan Arena guide instead of crying down over others helpful project.

However imo it lacks some deeper tactics on the maps. Got the feeling it is mostly talk about positions right now. Which is indeed important but kinda easy to learn by yourself. Maybe try to get more situations that could happen in a game and write down your thoughts about it.

you don't seem to understand what zyvve was trying to say. the best players are not necessarily the one's best at explaining how to play a game.

dk might not have the super aim you need to "carry" a team (and i made fun of him for years because of that) but when you play with him he's the one calling the strats and that is exactly the person i want in charge of a tdm guide.
not the guy with the 65% rail or the 10k+ damage, who's to decide which player is more important to a team?

from my limited knowledge of the cs scene they seem to have explicit "roles" in a team, i'd like the quake scene to understand the same thing.
