I'm really regretting crafting my spy-camerabeards a while back when they dropped more frequently as misc items. I had like 20+ of them (no exaggeration) and see people wanting to trade them now for hats I really quite like



... lol hats.

That'll die down though. I traded 2 cans of paint for a magistrate's mullet the other day, people are dumb right now :D. Wasn't even the rare paint, it was purple and orange.

Kinda got addicted to trading, it was honestly pretty fun searching for deals (managed to get a bill's hat for pyro sombrero (which I got for a crate and the mullet) and hatless scout, then traded it for a kabuto, 2 batters helms and stainless pot) but it's sorta worn me out now, plus I have most of the hats I want now, check last page of backpack: http://www.tf2items.com/id/LiamTWAT

I deleted a fair few of my hats because they were either duplicates or I just never used them and thought "what the hey, I'll get a different new one" (and then crafting 2 of my hats together I'd end up getting a dupe of whatever else I've got... so I'd craft another hat with that dupe to get a different one and end up with the fucking sniper's tooth hat thing... fml)

Thing that irritates me are those badges which say when you got the game. I put off getting TF2 for so long because I used to play TFC and was stubborn to try it, but eventually gave in (which was a good thing) when I bought the OrangeBox lol

Tend to play offensive engineer all the time when I'm lagging (which is all the time now) and play him pretty much like a scout. You'd be surprised how many people get pissed off when an offensive engineer with that metal hand thing just runs around putting up mini-sentries and shotgunning/pistoling the fuck out of anything that moves (seriously, I love that style of engineer. It's like oldschool TFC engineer and I can take heavy's down like that :D)

Nice, you should use the trading feature on the tf2items site. You learn quickly how to spot the dickheads and if you trudge through all the shit you find some decent deals. Just got a fro and a glengarry bonney for a batter's helm and a billycock.

I got 2 heavy hats but it's like my least played class. Something like 9hours total on it compared to scout or something which is 71hours (derp). Just don't like being a walking headshot target on pubs (even though to be fair, whenever you go heavy with a medic that actually heals you on a pub, you're guaranteed top spot on the scoreboard).

Same thing happened to me with the halo and it seems everyone else, I also idled using that program.

They deleted the items of every VAC banned player and stopped them getting drops too in this update. Shame some people got manually banned during the golden wrench thing for utterly retarded reasons.

Yeah really pissed me off they took away my idled hats (which were actually good ones) and then when I finally got my 'first' few hats they were a bald engineer, then a bald scout and then a soldier's stash (DERP.)

You have to buy keys, they might change their mind though so you could keep ahold of it for a bit, I got a decent offer for mine so I traded it away but they're pretty common anyway.

I won't buy one then because iirc from the TF2 wikia, odds are that you can get a backburner, scottish resistance, huntsman or direct hit (aka W+M1tard, camparoundcornerdemo, spamsman and the pointblank) and there aint no way I'm paying for those shit weapons

The fuck? All the crates I've seen have been vita saw/gunslinger/equilizer/napper's respite/pyro sombrero/ black and white paint/name tag and a chance to get an "unusual" hat which you can usually trade for fuckloads of hats.

if we're gonna give some constructive criticism here, I'll throw one in too: You guys could also switch POVs more often, instead of just letting followKiller and followPowerup do the job for you! ;)

I think the follow killer / follow pu POV on the streams is mostly due to the fact, that the casters have no control over the mechanics of streaming (the streamer may or may not be actually watching the game at the time)

Unlike gtv which gives mvd + whatever pov you can click on.
