don't know about, read a survey about two years ago, asking human ressource managers from lots of different countries in the world. Only job pretty much every country wthey asked was looking for was engineers. But you know how studies go...

Personally, all I know is that several of my friend finished their engineering degree at the height of the financial crisis. All of them got a job within a month, not always their first choice, but still.

Business administrators on the other hand....

Depends on what sector of engineering you're looking at going into and as you say most people were settling for something that wasn't their first choice although I'm pretty sure everywhere is past said financial crisis - sans USA and Greece ofcourse. Anyway I'm not gonna be a business administrator per say but having qualifications in both fields will allow me to achieve my ultimate goal - plus this course is free (:

well, I do see the merit of having knowledge in both fields engineering and business adminitration. After all I did study that :P And it does help me a lot, even though my current job is mainly about engineering.

Since you're going there to study, here's my protip : if there is a free/cheap danish course for the foreign students, SIGN UP!

People tend to give up within the first couple months when they realize they can go by with just english, but it can be a fun way to meet other foreigners from your school. Plus you usually get good reactions from the locals when you make a bit of an effort to speak their weird language.

I forgot alot of things but cant be bothered to write a wall of text about:

i lived in dk for three years. the costs of living are enourmous if you dont have a job there. even so, being a student is rather costly unless you get SU (but that is only granted for native students)

you play 10 euros for a cocktail at a bar, and the meat even at LIDL or any local supermarket store is hardly eatable and expensive as shit.

that also applies to bigger cities like aarhus or cph! it is awesome there though as danes are usually really nice *not always when you a German but you'll survive.
