I don't really get why you'd need huge bass for gaming. Afterall, that's what it is - a gaming headset.


Personally I love the headset for gaming. It's not got the most bass in the world but that's the point. It's the clarity. I don't need to feel the explosions of rockets near me, I just need to hear where they came from and where they are.

Right, but I'm not rich, and can't afford a second headphone for music/movies, (tbh, probably this phone will be with me for about 10 years, since my last one also 8 years old), and lets be honest here, 595's drivers or not , the pc350 sounds like weak dried shit.

I'm just looking for a nice balance between games and music/movies:)

It sounds weaker then other 'gaming' headsets sure, but that's because it's equalized for gaming (I'd guess mainly from 200-10k hz) Any lower then that and you're just feeling the explosions from games rather then hearing them. Sure it may sound cool but it'd suck for gaming trust me.

If you desperately want to do that, sure try it, but it'll suck for gaming, I'll tell ya that for free

But if you read the thread on, you can see that even a guy from Sennheiser are "ok" with the mod, and also it's increases mid soundstage as well not just the bass..

So, that's why I was curious if any quaker have this mod already:)

When I was using Siberia V2s, they were equalized to have big bass and sub for music. Sounded absolutely awesome when rockets exploded near me etc but I couldn't hear any important details because the sub and bass was just covering it.

Less bass = more clarity (well, usually. Especially for gaming at least)

I always reduce the bass when im playing

i actually used to EQ alot of bass away when i wanted to play quake, else it made everything noisy and was blanketting the mid frequencies u actually do need to hear :>
