Did they admit to losing on purpose? I thought they were both just playing badly, which led to them both losing to easier opponents.

you could tell av3k threw the games vs strenx. He would get the lead and then fuck it up so stupidly to give strenx back the lead etc all the time.



Cooller was playing very smart @ losing. However stermy caught him, because stermy was playing like total shit, so cooller should have killed him 20 times but had to tone it down and leave him/ miss easy shots to let stermy live multiple times.

This is why on t7 cooller shouts 'WHY ARE YOU HERE?' when he sees stermy with low stack in a corner of the map just begging to die, since cooller HAS to frag him there, or else he looks suspicious.

The admins said if anyone fucking looks suspicious in the third game they would throw them out. So stermy plays serious, and cooller tries to stay out of his sight, making stermys rail aim stand out more by showing himself at easy spots to take rails. If anyone says anything to him about losing, he can say ' he shot 60% rail at me alltimes, how can i live?'

But this is cooller, he managed to evade and could have beaten fucking CYPHER with 100% rail on hub @ qcon.

So i know he wasn't trying very hard at that hub.

BTW we caught av3k/cooller laughing hard behind the admins on stream, so lol

However coming here and pointing out the lack of professionalism in QL is kinda sad, too (vedic). Those few remaining "pro" gamers in Quake are just having some fun and sometimes earn a lil' pocket money.
