In fact almost everybody had connection and highping problems in last 2-3 weeks, especially those who have the same connection that stermy has. Their ISP has been noticed and it's trying to fix the problem...they say...

Thats even worse, hacking whole italian network just to have better chance against Cooller :P

Why didn't they play at Dreamhack?

It's been 10 days now that we (Italian players) are experiencing bad issues in international routing, mostly with fastweb provider and mostly to DE servers.
We've been opening tickets to provider but as you can imagine, it's not easy to explain such kind of complaint, and even more it's perceived as a not vital issue, although we tried to be persuasive.

I have the same stermy's ISP. I paste a tracert, the last HOPs :

ya, but they are good and ping consistent ping actually matters, having 80 ping is better than 20-60-80-50-70 jumping all over the place

I didn't know quakelive had any problems?
