no way around it. You should never force yourself to always use the same exact sensitivity and mouse accel simply because you've always used them. They are just arbitrary numbers; learn to adapt and change them when required to. Requiring yourself to always keep it on the same exact numbers, especially after changing to a new mouse, is plain dumb.

A better determinant to use is distance per 180 degree turn with accel off. On your old setup, measure the distance your mouse moves when you do an exact 180 degree turn. After you know this distance, you can always set your sensitivity to this distance, regardless of what mouse you're using, windows settings, DPI, etc.

The only challenge is the mouse accel, but all you need is a comfortable flick to 180 degree turn and then the accel is easy to adapt to.

If the drivers don't influence quake it's so high sens it's absolutely retarded.
If they do ( and that's what happens even with in_mouse 2 iirc ), it's just gonna be a pain in the ass to reproduce your settings with another mouse (or if you're lucky it's something like driver sens *dpi/10 and in that case you're somewhat close to a fake 300-400 dpi, can't be arsed to pop the win calc up )

My Quake sens is pretty low tbh. My windows sens does effect my quake sens. I have it on about 1.5 - 2 (out of 10). I measured a 360 turn sometime back and it was about 25cm without accel.

That's not your win sens, that's your drivers sens. If on top of it there's some win sens action, I just don't wanna delve further into this unless you provide painkillers and booze for when we're done.

So I guess you're somewhere in between 270 and 360 dpi if the drivers do the job as I think they do.
Just get a ruler out, mesure precisely what your sens is, figure out what your virtual dpi is and recalculate everything for 450. That's a 10 minutes job.

Razer drivers on any other sensitivity setting value then 10 filter out certain snapshots from mouse thus effectively rendering high polling rate useless. Simply set 450 DPI, 1000 Hz and tweak m_pitch & m_yaw to match desired cm/360 sensitivity.
