I've been testing plenty headsets and so far this have been the best if I take price tag/quality ratio in account.

Mine snapped in half 3 months ago, not along a structural joint, while taking them off my head and I am not rough with my belongings...

What in the name of God have you done to them in order to break them in half?

There's no possible way I break mine and I'm applying a lot of force on it, it's kinda flexible also.
This is by far the most robust headset I've ever used and either you got a faulty product or have been repeatedly jumping on it with ski boots.

As I said, I don't mishandle my things..

Had the headset for about a year and it broke with me taking them off and barely flexing them. It's not hard to see that a) they are made out of cheap plastic shell and there was likely a faultline where it decided to break. Thats why many of the good headsets use either a thicker stronger plastic or metal wires and pleather material. Though I didn't pay much for the headset, I won't be going back after only a years worth of use.

in da same boat. I went to a lan with shitty headphones n I couldnt hear shiiiit. prolly cuz they werent closed ear.

What's good headset in 100-150$ price?

Steelseries siberia v2 got best possible price / performance ratio so go for it.

That's if you can put up with them breaking every 5 minutes

haha, i have 4-5 year old icemat siberias and even they are still working perfectly... Also i have had no problems with my new ss siberia v2 so far :)

If you want to go cheap, I can surely recommend the sennheiser hd201's. I think they go for 20 euro atm and are really good for price/quality.

its like the wmo of headsets, do some research

go for a headphone + separate mic, its price/quality ratio is alot better than headsets marketed for 'stupid' gamers

got the superlux, it's better than my senn hd555 modded@595.

Although you'd have to consider the akg k240 earpads (16€) because the fake leather pads are getting annoying after 4-5h of wearing.

U.S. distributor Avlex has stopped ordering them because of a huge price increase. Doubtful I would be able to get my hands on one in the near future.
