well practical use i'd use it for notifying of a dropped weapon or if i required a weapon in tdm

otherwise, for example the clicky jump i just posted, is only to taunt my opponent

why not taunt your opponent with taunt? (+button3)

I assume everyone else is like me and disables taunt

True story:
I have taunt disabled, but for the sake of it entered +button5 or w/e in console and apparently didn't stop to taunt
opponent was already pissed and told me to stop it after getting some frags :DD

The thing is; you could easily write a little script to make that noise (and even display the text if you want via hud script); whilst not making a noise that your enemy can hear.

Unless he is using it in some sort of strategical way; but I just think he likes the noise :)

Cooller cfg is on his fb, cyphers in its profile, avek didnt change it and its on his srs profile, strenx went from 100 to 95fov and added some accel still zooms with lg zoomfov70, killsens is on his site

i looked through so many cfgs, and im still wondering why most pros use noctis config as a base...? For the graphics? or is it cuz he has 2000000 binds with tons of settings that can confuse fuckers trying to learn secrets from their configs.

Because fox and noctis were the two first good players to release a decent cfg template that's easy to edit when you can't be arsed to search for the new cvars and would rather play vq3.

cause noctis and fox are organized uber nerds and uber nerds care about their cfgs, i know i literally spent years on my quake3 one. nowadays i cba to put in much work so i went to check out their cfgs and settled with noctis'.
