So a CS mate of mine wants to try out Quake. I tell him to add me on QL and I'll spawn a duel server and show him around it. The basics etc.

Anyway, he's trying to connect to my server (long story short, he couldn't go through the link due to QL bugs etc etc) so I tell him to connect through the server browser.

At which point the conversation goes

Mate - hey, isn't Fatal1ty like a top pro or something?
Me - yeah used to be, why?
Mate - he's got a server running now. Is that him?
Me - ... wait, what?

Anyway yeah, apparently he's playing duel. Anyone know that Juggernaut guy? :|

Oh yeah, and while I'm here. Jamalz, you better spill the fuckin' beans on who CZM is alias'ing as :D

He needs to sell his new motherboard somehow. Advertising it with events like this and playing QL duel is not a bad idea, there are still plenty Fatal1ty fanboys out there who would buy it just because it has his face on it.

I have no fucking idea what is going on in this video, firstly he's talking that he aims with his products towards all sort of gamers, and it would be understandable if it would be some showcase about some new mouse, but its motherfuckingboard ! ;o The most basic component of every pc which doesnt affect gameplay in any way, unless it sucks and causes some fps drops, but I think that engineers which would made mobo that would cause fps drops in CS would deserve for Nobel Prize, period.
But it gets even fucking better, he starts to play ~12 year old game and shows his recoil control which is on the level, that every average esl ladder player would just mock, stopped at this part cause my embrassment was just too high.

This is just a little demonstration how ASRock motherboards will improve your gaming experience. At the event I'm playing Counter-Strike professionally, because there is no QuakeLive server in Taipei with a good ping to DM17.

He will never come back.

If he comes back and loses (Probably will) he will just lose all his hype and built up commercial nostalgia, that will just ruin his franchise that he already has.

stop hating on fatal1ty that much, guy might come off as a douche but his contributions to e-sports as a player and as well as a well publicized "face" / brand is undeniable.

He was playing some casual tdm / ca a month or two ago with czm and few other old-school people, he does occasionally play ffa / ca time to time, nothing serious.
