Beat was ok not really lik singing in vids nice nonetheless

Some very positive comments here (: - Comment #6 imo is the best :D. It's quite alright to not like a movie due to it's music chosen, I personally hate metal, but that's what most people use for fast fragging videos, and like-wise with tricking videos, Trance or electronic is the most common used - The idea of this was to give it a different feel than other videos so people wouldn't say "another boring video" (and you would, you know you would).

It's a pain to watch, just sad to see all the hours spent editing and gathering material just to waste it on a song(?) like this.

the music wasn't the problem, it was the choice to edit everything so painfully slow that rendered the entire thing boring & unwatchable. if you're going to use beat-oriented music at that pace then at least match the visuals to it.. could've sworn I was watching paint dry. quake needs excitement & dynamics for movie editing, not dull spectacles where you can't even see what's going on (models were too dark, angles were poorly chosen for the most part, map/config contrast was inconsistent). there's no creativity here whatsoever - you need your own style or something.. I think you should view more defrag movies to see what makes them good & what doesn't before attempting another.

maybe I wouldn't have been so harsh it I didn't read "The tricks are high level and so is the editing" before viewing.. but if you're going to spout something like that then I figure you need some realistic criticism to bring yourself back to reality.

What you are seeing is my style and if you don't like it, kindly refrain from posting unless you have something of value I can use. If all else fails then you can try to make a better video but not all is as easy as it seems.

If it was all 1st person I would have enjoyed it; and if you had the same track but an instrumental only version, I would have really, really enjoyed it :)
