C'mon it was an amazing action packed map...Just bring it back and put dismembermet out of the pool. There were so many insane games on T9, i know u guys miss it:D
there are good games on dismemberment too. don't remember which atm, but if u look at the iem eu games u will find a few, and i believe the top players like it
hektik is an action packed map aswell but from most games its just who got first kill and from then on its pretty much biased. i know i know y'all be screaming comeback matches which happened here and there (inb4 z4 vs dkt). pretty much rush rush
on t9 there were more options to have thanks to the teleporters in the map...
not entirely sure if playing on them really differs that much since i'm not a duel player but as a spectator's view it shows what i told here ^

if it was me, I would allow most competitive maps and let the real popularity of the map decide. I mean that if it isn't popular, will be dropped anw.
Like it is now, the few ppl who are more vocal than the rest decide for all of us what to play on. I don't like many maps, but I don't whine about them and I don't fabricate reasons for dropping them.
...will start being a whiny vocal stupid kid though, to follow the trend.
Having a huge map pool, doesn't have real drawbacks. You like a map, WILL be in, no whine. You don't like a map, drop it, no whine. As far as the time it takes to drop maps, huge lol. Few extra secs, don't matter. If it is so bad, do it in pairs or more, like player A: drop drop, player B: drop drop. Comeon is not THAT hard.
r_mapoverbrightbits 3
r_overbrightbits 1 (allways leave at this value if u want the brightest possible enemy models)
r_ignorehwgamma 1
r_intensity 1.3
r_gamma 0.7
or
r_intensity 1.2
r_gamma 0.8 (u can play around with these two along with your monitor brightness to adjust to your needs)
my goal was to make a map rather clean/"dark" and enemy models brightest possible while using only vertex (no postprocess or other noobshit on) and keeping the whole map greatly visible
im 99% sure i gave u everything but gonna check exactly when ql is back
