was trying to find some sites where you could download older vod's. quake4, painkiller, and some older ql.

the only site i've stumbled across tis www.fileplay.net

For firefox you can use an addon to download flash videos. Flashgot should do the trick. http://flashgot.net/
You can also grab it from your browser cache. VideoCacheView is a nice tool to do so: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/video_cache_view.html
