it was so annoying in q4 already and play is even more limited in ql, there is just no way that it is suited as a competitive map, especially if we have 10 better maps to chose from

haven't seen too many good players play it yet in ql, but i enjoyed everytime i watched. and it wouldn't hurt to have it in a couple of zotacs just to see how it does imo. if it really is that dull it could be kicked out ofc

Well I loved it in Q4 since it was just pure fast action map. I agree that it is kinda plain and simple as a map but it provides great games overall and doesn't mean it can't be played differently, at least from my experience. I would give it a try at least --> Hektik --> Phrantic.

in q4 the gameplay stagnated quite fast (at least thats how i saw it). everyone played the same, the same 4-5 fighting situation were always the same and a lot of time it was a real spamfest

Sorry to rain on the Battleforged parade, but that map still has horrendous sound issues, it's as if the wall they tacked up over the window was never flagged to block sound or whatever.

apparently it's something to do with the teles and they're fixing it in an update.

I'll admit it's been some time since I've thrown down on Battleforged, but I don't recall reading anything about it being fixed, and what I mean is that from the mega health area you can hear someone pick up the YA on the other side of the map, which I can't imagine is intended.

as far as i know, it was due to the see through teleporters, which are supposedly being changed.

It's fixed in the coming update.

Every year there should be a new map list with ALL NEW maps for competitive play. I'm rapidly reaching the limit of seeing maps so often they misdirect me in my own house because I'm trying to navigate ZTN to reach the bathroom or dreaming that hub/dm6/dm13/t4 is my home. Less stagnance please. I don't care if cooller himself throws a bitch fit about it.
