Yesterday I saw a car with czm, and one with esr. Today there's a czm article on esr - THE END IS NEAR!

Was I the only one that cracked up when czm did his impression of getting shafted in the air? That was hilarious!

By the way, I'm really impressed at how sharp his memory is from matches that were so many years ago. He remembers specific situations in specific matches at specific tournaments, the match time, both players' health, what exactly happened, etc. From matches in like '01, '02, '03. If you asked cooller about a match from last year, he wouldn't remember. :D

Well it depends on what match you asked him about, if you asked him about last years iem4 finals I think he would remember almost all the important details. I don't see how its surprising someone remembers details from games that meant alot to them.

I mean if you practiced for months for a tournament and then traveled half way across the world and then lost in the grand final.. i think your going to remember and maybe replay that game over and over in your head for weeks afterwards.

Yeah, but he's remembering REALLY specific details from matches almost a DECADE ago, and not even finals matches. He's been talking about lower bracket matches and matches that earned him 3rd place or something (including the prior videos), so it's not like some of the matches he's talking about (esp when he's talking about his first few tournaments EVER) are the biggest of his career, and yet he remembers the tiniest details from those matches. And I'm sure cooller would remember something from *last year's* iem finals, he'd remember, but if you asked him about his matches with czm from ~8 years ago, he wouldn't be able to spout off specific times/situations/health on specific maps of specific matches. I don't think anyone else would either. It's not a knock on cooller (I've seen interviews with him where they ask him about recent matches where he seems less vivid about remembering the details of the match that czm does here talking about matches from several years ago), I'm just saying czm's memory is ridiculous.

Whoah, thanks. By the way, is there site with vods/commentary of such tournaments like eswc, quakecon etc (im interested in stuff before 2006-2007 and with live commentary, not just game). I know about c58.org, but there are only demos, and many of them are recored using gtv and have massive lag/action skipping if you know what i mean.

There were no VODs back in 2000-2004 etc. Back then the commentary used to be shoutcasting which you played while watching GTV. The CPL World Tour in 2005 was when streaming really began to become standard for duel FPS.

Yeah, thank you, I get that back then internet connections couldn't handle streaming. That's why I'm interested in those shoutcasting audio files, not just demos/videos of the game itself.
