I have the Artisan G3 Red Hard.
But I use WMO + Abyssus and both track very well, the LOD on the Abyssus is quite high but I think thats more to with the actual mouse then the pad.

No jitter

It's the combination of both, you don't have that high LoD issue on most pads.

Well the only other pad I have is the Fnatic QcK+ and the Abyssus just jitters all over the place, So even if the LoD was low theirs no point.

I used to play with that abyssus on the QcK last summer and it had no jitter at all, I guess mine was the newer version.

Can't tell you about #1 and #2 but you definitely can set the DA-Drivers up that you got 450/550 on Profile 1, 900/500 on Profile 2 and 1800/500 on Profile 3 but then you still will have two more Profiles that will be switched to when you press the button 4 and 5 times so you probably want to bind the setting you use the most to Profile 4 and 5.

ok, as long as the mouse polls automatically at 500hz when i plug it in the usb port i should be fine, how does the abyssus glide ? i think it has the same feet with razer DA except its bottom which is more narrow, correct ?

1) No jitter w/ Firmware v1.00. I know you said you didn't care about LOD, but at default it's around 6mm~ which is extremely high with this combination.

2) It's the body's defected design that scrapes the pad. I've solved this by placing pefectglides over the stock feet. The Razer stock feet while good feel nearly frictionless in combination with the kai.G3, although if you're used to hyperglides (w/ the G3) you shouldn't have a problem.

3) Yes and no. It goes through all five profiles. This is an example of my setup.

Profile 1: 450 DPI / 500 Hz
Profile 2: 900 DPI / 500 Hz
Profile 3: 1800 DPI / 500 Hz
Profile 4: 450 DPI / 500 Hz
Profile 5: 1800 DPI / 500 Hz

1) what exactly do you like more in DA BE compared to IME 3.0 ? (except higher max control speed for low sens gaming and higher build quality ) keep in mind that I got the 2006 version

2) what if i put an extra set of these http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/18402195/Razer-...oduct.html on top of the stock feet ? will that solve the scraping ? or will i need 2 sets on top of each other ( 9 mouse feet total rofl ) due to thickness ?

A frictionless feel is pretty much welcome in my book :D

3) If i set it up the same way you did through drivers, will the profiles be the same no matter which computer i plug it into ? that would be perfect for LAN obviously, plus i don't want any razer drivers installed on my gaming computer.

4) is there any reason NOT to use 1800dpi if the game supports raw input/direct input ? 450 and 900dpi actually decrease the max tracking speed of the 3.5g sensor, right ?

And neither does whether its the DA BE or regular version only difference in those is the hand grip material.

Ok so i finally got the combo, LOD doesn't bother me but it's ridiculous yes, very high ! put some rz2 on top of the stock feet and now that they're burned the glide is pretty good, i just good artisan shiden kai xsoft as well, stay away if you play low sens, the coating can be really sticky to the wrist / bottom of your palm.


Is it true that razerhid.exe causes input lag ? How do i store profiles in the mouse memory ? if i unistall drivers then the dpi switch on the bottom does nothing :S

I red/hard, and I've played with DA, and currently IE 3.0.
Tracks nicely, plays great.

got the xsoft shiden kai, total lack of feedback and quite sticky to the skin like a qpad CT, back to closet :P

HUH??? I'm lost, artisan said it will be their slickest pad in terms of friction.

it is very low friction, mouse just glides and glides, but there is NO feedback, it's like moving your mouse on air ! plus it feels sticky for my skin even when my hands are dry and clean. It's a shame really.

yes, but even worse lack of friction/feedback and even more uncomfortable feel when your wrist slides above it, the padlooks quality tho, its glass coating looks like red mixed with yelow and a little bit of white sugar/star dust, very soft too as expected.

Isn't it good for very ultra low sensitivities?

Just wondering. As very low sens players are almost always travelling big distances in the pad.

if you play like that, 99% you will be dissapointed unless you use that glove :p it's really like a qpad ct, but faster and more durable.

oh, because of its sticky-to-skin surface, as you've already said.
