When you buy a mousepad for $15+, you expect it to at least track well, so it shouldn't be the deciding factor in my opinion. If a mouse doesn't track properly on the pad it's usually the mouse's fault, not the pad's.
Mionix Propus with glittering silver in the pads surface is highly regarded as one of the best pads, when it comes to tracking quality by lasersensors.
I didn't believe the Abyssus jitter shit until I bought one and tried it out on my qck heavy. Drawing a line in paint feels like I have fucking parkinsons and ingame it constantly feels like I'm getting snagged on something a bit like a cable getting caught on a desk (even though it's not - it's just the weird jitter)
optical + cloth is mostly fine, but i doubt anyone has tried or knows about all possible combinations. which one are you interested in, maybe people can help you if you're a little more specific?
right now i have a steelseries qck+ and since its worn out very badly i m looking for a new one. puretrak talent looks very nice but if theres a better one in terms of tracking i d go for the better one ofc.
