am waiting for new lcds 120 hz . i dont wana 2233rz cause MAKING ghosting :P its true .

you might be the only person who sees that ghosting.... I don't see it, I switched from 160hz crt to 2233rz.

no man , u just blind u dont see it . i dont know how its posible u dont see it . everybody see it . also u can read it in many reviews etc . There are fasters panels but sadly no 120 hz .

who's everybody? maybe your eyes are younger and more sensitive, it's possible, still this lcd is great for gaming, no slight ghosting will change that. and that's what we care about right? or what kind of task is it you want to do that makes this (imaginative) ghosting so horrible? ask the pro's how they think about it, stermys lan had 2233rz for all players. the level of aim was very high imo.

they didnt try other 12O hz lcd. so who own 2233RZ say YES IS GOOD i have it :D

while I understand the thought I have to disagree. this is mostly the case with 16yo retards. why would noctis say it is good, voo, why would everyone aim so well on this monitor.

please explain to me in detail how I can experience this ghosting. watching movies I don'T see it. playing QL or any other fps I don't see it....

now i have 2ms asus and its faster .

Ghosting i can see while i play r_picmip 5 and simple icons u must get speed UPS and u start see shadow behind icons [ammo, armor icons ]

also enemy model looks blury when u hunting enemy . I have ghosting but 2233rz have more and i know it for sure :D its not big problem , but when i saw it and play on it i say to my friend damn , this remind me my old LG lcd 5 ms and he say " : / " he know what am talking about .

that's 'trailing' what you are describing with those shadows behind objects as far as I am aware of.

That is not ghosting. And no I don't experience that either.

It is true there is an ever so slight shadow behind very bright fast moving things, but that could very well be the reaction time of the human eye, because LCD work different then CRT, ie. it might be unavoidable. I think that because it is only there if I try hard to look for it.Also I know of a function that draws the complementary color on fast moving objects so to erase the image faster from your retina, maybe it's the implementation of that. A CRT picture is erased from the retina by default because it is constantly redrawn, LCD don't do that.

still, I don't think you have superhuman eyes so the difference between us could be that significant, there was probably something wrong with the 2233 you tested. mine is perfect, I simply love it. the only complaint I might have had is backlight bleeding and narrow horizontal viewing angle which is totally normal for a TN panel, I knew that before I bought it. Also slight tearing in QL, to which I have to look into deeper if I have the time and /care for it

There isn't a monitor out there which can match any decent Crt for image quality at high resolutions and high refresh rates simultaneously. If desk space isn't an issue, a decent 19" or 21" Crt is still the best money can buy at a great price on ebay :)

If desk space is an issue, and since your willing to throw down a lot of cash for a monitor, the 120hz Samsung (233rz? Can't remember its model name..) is your best bet :) Have heard great things about it, only minor complaint seems to be a smidgen of input lag; other than that its the closest you'll get to a crt on a small desk.

I'm not changing from my crt for a few more years yet, thats for sure :)

i have the same one. used to have samsung 2233rz but sold it. they feel the same performance wise but asus has 1080p res and height adjustable stand

there is some acer monitor i've heard good stuff about, (it's orange in colour if it helps, rofl) some people diss acer but I personally love their products, have a laptop and it's amazing tbh... also, buyable m0ar warranty if it expires and other good stuff, good support, economy in mind build, etc... but also, I think it costs moar then the samsung, so...

the asus / benq / lg / acer 120hz 1080p monitors are good, differences are minor, read some more if you want to know more :) all the info is out there, even on the forums here.
