It sounds like a new mouse / range of products that come with customizable shells that you design by uploading images to their site then, this will probably apply to all/many future products aswell considering the way he's put that statement out.
There are a few other companies that offer a similar featureset in the US.. so that would be my guess being the customization of various peripherals has been requested for a long time. I remember QPAD specifically offered a private service for customized mousepad designs on their CT (i designed a few for friends), though they never went public with it.
I'm probably wrong considering noone else has suggested that.
No way you can upload your own shape designs.
Maybe u can choose from some shapes and colors, but i doubt that u can choose the sensor u would like to have.
Not gonna happen, but if I'm wrong... I'm emptying my backaccount to order some frankenmice (right shape and sensor). Order about 10 of them and never worry again about mice for the rest of my natural life.
What are you on about sensors and shapes? I never mentioned any of that. A shell is the exterior of the mouse, you'd get different customizable designs (e.g. serious cypher deathadder) of that shell.. it's not hard to understand what i'm saying and it's very easy implement an extra step into the manufacturing process for an additional charge to the consumer if the product is designed to accomodate it, and ofcourse if it was deemed feasable. Hell, it would also be possible to implement your incorrect interpretation of what i've said, though that would require some element of standardisation and is almost certainly one step too far, just wouldn't make sense.
AFAIK steelseries globle website has no stock or normal Xai or Kinzu :?
I thought they will bring back few in stock but from a month they were out of stock.
So they are woking on correcting lots of problem old Xai has and probably they will correct in Kinzu2 too who knows :P
Most other mechanical kbs are rebranded Costars. But the companies can choose to use different switches/caps/pcbs to make them higher or lower quality.
yeah the other nice one's I'd found that ALSO had no keypad on far right *win* were sold out of PS2 and not restocking, and USB doesn't recognize as many simultaneous keystrokes.
Filcos? Those are made by Costar as well. I have a tenkeyless blue cherry Filco (that no numpad you were talking about) that works great. USB is limited to 6kro (can handle 6 simultaneous key presses) which is more than enough; if you really wanted Nkro (can handle any number of key presses), then you would need a ps/2 adapter. Elitekeyboards.com used to sell Filcos, but they replaced them with Leopolds, which are also very nice keyboards. They are nkro (with ps/2) and are tenkeyless too.
pretty sure it's gonna be a xai v2 or something. I usually don't register to such things but this time there's no social whoring and I could do with a 6gv2.
I'd rather have a wmo with curvy sides like a 3.0 and no side buttons though but I guess I'm weird.
Also I'm thinking they're going to have one normal version of this new mouse (that would be the same colours as the kinzu and xai) and also have this community voted colour scheme.
Having a community voted colour scheme would be a fun thing if only we didn't have to choose between utter shit and what looks like a pair of 1987 nike shoes.
those look like major clan color themes
orange/black ones - fnatic
blue/yellow - navi
dark/light blue - EG
blue/white - SK
red - tyloo
the only weird are green ones
No you're not weird. I would never buy this new mouse because the thumb button is exactly where I would normally rest my thumb while controlling the mouse. Useless to me.
They all mice look same except colours... I don't know what I was choosing lol.
I loved steelseries since I bought Kinzu then I hated it for their drivers. Xai is ok mouse nothing special works ok with old software / firmware. Lets see what this one is offering.
I appreciate that you're learning English, but as long as you have that flag whilst posting you'll look like a moron. Not that i care, but i thought you might want to change it.
I wonder if steelseries even knows what prediction and acceleration are. You know it's a bad sign when one of your top sponsored players has to resort to putting a steelseries sticker on a WMO.
i wonder how often he has to re-do the sticker because it starts falling apart :D btw you might just sell the WMO with a steelseries logo - people would go nuts :D
iirc there was a SteelSeries rebranded IME 3.0 at one point, so I don't see why they couldn't. There was a rebranded IME 3.0 Alienware, too, both of those had a different, glossy surface.
The second part of his statement made me laugh though. Personally I own the Ikari Laser and Optical and both of them are wicked sick. The Kinzu is unfortunately their opposite. I would like to get a Xai in the future, but I'm not in a rush. Anyway: the Ikari Optical had absolutely no pos/neg acceleration, while the Ikari Laser had adjustable prediction in its drivers. I also think that it doesn't have any accel, but I might be wrong on that.
