i get kinda lost in all those cups, leagues and whatnot news that pop up 3 days before the events actually starts, then again when they do and whatnot

There really needs to be a better way of presenting what's on which stream and when. Nowadays it's just randomly connecting to a stream when you clock a news & hoping to see a decent match. Granted matches are usually played in quick succession but plenty other games manage this for one day cups.

The QL streamers need to make better use of a system such as www.GamesTV.org - the functionality is there for QL (and also filters) should people want to try it. Currently I've only seen ESL Bundesliga matches on there but it's worth a look. Also allows for VoD links to be posted in the fixture.

I don't mean a general this tournament starts @ X & ends @ Y so you can sit on stream for an hour of delays, 4 hours of no names & finally 1 good match. Actual notification as to who's playing whom and where - like Xou does for LAN events, it's not hard to do just takes the admin to want it.

hmm okay, but tbh thats not worth the effort for smaller events as you can always just check the organizers site after you saw the news/schedule at esr.

Yeah that's my point there's a load of different orgas (all with terrible websites) so there's no easy place to have a quick check. You're left following link to link to link to find out that the final happened an hour ago and see scores posted before there's VoDs up.

It's successfully done for other games (I cite ET where it's very prominent) regardless of the competition. Don't see why it's that hard. Just requires the right platform for the admins to add it to & a critical mass of community members.

I used to actually have discussions with people back then. But for pretty much the entire 9 years i've been here, i've only replied to people about 5 times (excluding the first month or so).
