Skillrating primarily because in a lot of matches players complain about 'play in your own tier'. Then i can inform them of the current skillevel without casting /serverinfo and searching for the right item in the list that produces. Accuracy because in a lot of games i focus on aiming as well as possible. Downside is that this information isn't updated that regularly.

hehe, well you should inform them that they are stupid whining bitches, cause the server you can play on are the highest tier... also those people never listen and if they do they dont believe you anyway. its the same as someone accusing you of cheats, take it as a compliment and ignore them

well i am kind of a stat whore myself although i know better^^ but come on, its the overall acc, depending on the weapons you used, maps, enemy skill and just the randomness of situations you get in a ffa, there is next to zero information in the number you will get.

Actually skill-rating in FFA doesn't really tell you much about your own skill, it's more of a judge of the relative strength of the server. So in that sense it may or may not be useful, since players are coming and going all the time.

Personally I would never join/leave a server because it has a certain skill-rating. Thats pretty pathetic IMHO. But you can't really call it a ego stat.

And accuracy is pretty meaningless aswell. The only stat that really matters in FFA is damage output, Usually sorting the players by damage output will pretty much equal the finishing positions at the end of the game.

Why not? If you join a FFA server and see that the skillrating is 40.. there's no point in owning people who can't strafe.

The lowest i've seen in 72. But it should not receive that much attention. If there are 10 mediocre players but there is 1 very good player, the game can be very tough.

I'm waiting for tony and jamerio expert analysis of the demanding game mode ffa.

Bunch of time fraggers living off the trend I started over xmas.

Note how they both play FFA on dm6, probably been playing it for 15 years solid. Quad Damage also adds random spikes and frag potential.

What I like about me is it was Xmas FFA map, I hardly played quake in 5-6 years, despite this, I'm pulling times of around 7-8 minutes on a relatively unplayed map (in modern times) with no quad (Shaft/Railgun which can have massive impacts on time-ok there is a rail but its by large useless) (note how visje times quad religiously goes on shaft run). about 60% of my full ability with no real config, or setup, some 72hz TFT.
No feet on my mouse , candle wax on my mouse pad and I'm still pulling sensational times and I don't even game anymore.

that's what i like about classic games, a skilled player can dominate the competition, crouching somewhere and sniping doesn't help.
