Arm + wrist movement for aiming, not one or the other, a combination of both used at the perfect time with the perfect gun. Clean mouse feet and clean mousepad with 1000hz mouse polling rate which is stable. And a fast and precise sensitivity. Too slow and you won't be able to turn or hit godly flicks, too fast and you won't be precise enough to track lg or mg correctly. Get a $20 cheap 120hz CRT monitor, size 17 or 19.
Get set up that way and aiming in quake becomes easy. (duel strategy however is not)
That's a wheel mouse optical. Nevertheless, the IMO 1.1 is used by countless low sensitivity CS players, all of which are considered the top
Of the top of my head: Neo, Sunde, Zonic, Ave, Solo, Peri, SpawN, Starix, Keiz, Delpan (shall I bother going on?)
These aren't just random players. They're considered the best of the best.
edit: infact, Delpan is easily one of it not the best AWPer currently in CS, and he uses an IMO 1.1 with a sensitivity of 1.4. Just to make it clear, that's almost 75cm for a full 360 turn
Neo - 2.27 sens 46cm for 360
Solo - 3.0 (not exactly high sens)
SpawN is the only exception to all the users having used a high sens. All the rest are 2.0 - 3.0 sens
Well that doesn't make any sense either. I use a IMO 1.1 low sens in Quake and hit high acc. Plenty of other people use similar mice with low sens... No disadvantage. Nothing to do with 'suiting your style'. You make what you like work for you
This is usually the point where someone points out that you are dumb enough to spam lg (or rail) while there are weapons much more stronger/effective on that matter.
I got my G3 Hard a few weeks after Quakecon and it's pretty much like brand new, theirs been a bit of frying and lose treading on the out skirts of the pad (before the stitching ) but the actual surface is flawless.
