OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
CPU: I5 760 @ 2.80GHz
MOBO: AsRock H55DE3
RAM: 4GB
USB @ 1000hz (tried 500hz as well)
Mice in question: Logitech mx300 and Steelseries XAI.
They both skip at high speeds, as in either stop moving completely or move to a different direction than they're supposed to.
I tried both mice on the old rig with Windows XP and they worked perfectly. Neither of them skipped and XAI even had it's characteristic positive acceleration present.
I have asked around from my pals who also have the same Windows 7 and they don't experience any skipping, I am completely at a loss as to what might be the problem.
