playing around with the editor that came with the first crysis was alot of fun and even with limited knowledge you could produce some good looking stuff.

BF3 is probaly better, crytek is a directx idtech

better at what? i thought we were talking about editors that the gamer can use....
as far as i know BF3 wont ship with an editor.

BF3 frostbite engine is probaly better to mod for, dice are EA and EA wont release a full SDK like UDK,

releasing a full SDK is the new fad, when they have taken a few licences and paid the bills, they release the full SDK
