As for powerups. I've always thought TDM needed a 'vampire' powerup.

Lasts 30 seconds, all damage you do to any enemy = health you get back. Even damaging your teammate = health, however if u kill the teammate u still lose a frag.

This way u can get 'vampire' and just beast the shit out of ppl for 30 seconds if ur godly. And vampire + quad is insanity. Vampire + battlesuit = PENTAGRAM OF PROTECTION SON (nearly)
