note: i know u said ur out, but really, dont post any arguments or questions prior to that :D thats just cheepyour first reply was a bit meh, thats mostly why i didnt want to get in an argument here^^, anyway...
should the 'best aimer' win over strategic players such as rapha?first of all i think you underestimate rapha here cause when you divide fighting into "aim, movement and weapon choise/creativity", i dont see him far behind other players. rapha has one of the best in combat movement. his weapon choices are rock solid (strenx is not there yet for example). now what he maybe lacks in creativity he makes up in adaption, especially when it comes to aim. cause when his aim is on (and there were matches were he simply outaimed other top opponents), he is a real beast but when he doesnt feel comfortable with it, he doesnt rely on it.
Players who participate in tourneys shouldn't be allowed to decide maps, because they are biasedNot everyone is a biased tard like cooller who once hated t7 and now obviously likes to play it ...
Of course you want to play lost world, because this map doesn't emphasize skill difference between players and you can fell like you're having close games with strong players and you like it.I guess you are referring to my post above otherwise I have no clue why you are writing this. The reason why I prefer dm13 over ztn is that ztn is by far my worst map and dm13 somehow suits me a lot. Not only because I have a fairly decent lg but also the layout, mindgames, laying traps etc. In addition people on my skill level do so many mistakes on dm13 that the games are exciting most of the time and not +backish at all. At least it doesn't work vs me if you +back for the whole game and my aim is kinda on ;).
It doesn't mean that the map is good way to determine better player in a competition.Never said anything contradictory have I?
You, as competition player, don't even care if a map provides a good measure of skill difference, so why you think you should be allowed to have a voice on which maps to use in map pool? You won't believe it but I actually care a lot about it. For example I'm not really bad on dismemberment even though I played it like 10-15 times. Still I think it was easily the most skillless map in the old mappool and it should never be considered again. Basically it is about sharing the big powerups and sneaking most of the time. This map doesn't emphasize skill at all between two players. Just think about all the opportunities to trap a player (rj from ra to ya yeah skillzzz ...) and compare it to other maps.
......You missed april the 1st guys.
