my forum got hacked, that's not a joke, wish it was. but if you really want to see if i'm lying, just ask lorfa. He may not like me anymore than you, but he's not going to lie. I did have such a list and it was a sticky and it was very long and , now that i think about it, you can easily add all the sites i had listed on the clanlist sticky as well. That was listed in the clan forum. That list was even longer in fact, probably 500 clansites in total, but not all had forums or websites (prob about 65% i would say).

imHo this whole statement is pretty useless. I couldn't care less about people using medieval hacks on public servers, hitting obvious 70% shaft. The statement that people should just use private servers to get rid of cheaters is also idiotic though. What I don't get is these three things:

-- Why don't we have punkbuster anymore?
Okay, punkbuster wasn't perfect and couldn't find all the newest hacks that some people used. BUT it still identified A LOT of hacks, especially older ones. I'm sure the hack that was used by this "high skilled" CTF player from Britain (clan infused or something) would have been caught by punkbuster for example.
Imo it was way better with punkbuster because it was at least intimidating: if some kid just went and downloaded the first hack he could find on google he had to fear it might be caught by punkbuster and he might get banned. Now everyone one can just try out different things until he finds what works best and least suspicious.

-- Why can't we just KICK people on public servers?
Wouldn't hurt if we just had callvote kick during games on public servers. Warmup callvotes show that democracy wins, and for a reason. So why not use it during games and just kick that detlew guy?
Instead there is that new command that I have to disable in my config because else it will distract me whenever my clan mate accidently shoots me during a match. A kick vote would have been more effective, useful against more kinds of people being dicks ingame (like cheaters, ppl being insulting,...) and also easier to implement.

Leagues get rid of multi account usage so why can't id do something similar? And be it only the more or less ineffecient IP comparison? Yes, IPs can change but why not at least put on the profile page: "this guy's IP is the same as this guy's" and people can come to their own conclusions?

Imo with punkbuster gone we need at least something, be it only the chance to watch every players most recent demos or something, because -- call it paranoia -- I think there are some guys in our beloved community who cheat. Also in official matches and in higher skill levels.
