After watching the video; if it's design is based off the xai shell, I hope they have sorted out the click registering problem; I know of many people where either the left or right click has failed (mostly the right click). Hopefully they have learned from that mistake, otherwise they are going to have a lot of pain with RMA's due to guaranteeing the switches up to ten million clicks or w/e the chap said.

It wasn't really an issue for the xai, but I hope they have removed all positive acceleration :)

Steelseries is the most interesting mouse producer atm, imo their products from the ikari to the kinzu/xai have all been going in the right direction :)

Edit: so I just clicked on http://steelseries.com/products/mice and saw its exactly the same shape as the xai; didn't realise the xai had two buttons on each side, only thought it had one. Oops :S

Still no protection for the cable where it enters the mouse. This mouse will not last long.

may I ask what you are doing with the cable of your mouse :-)

Playing with low sens, most of my mice died from the cable gradually going though it seemed to happen to my Steel Series mouse faster. It happens to many others so I am not abusing the mouse, the wires inside the cable get broken by the constant bending at the point where the cable enters the mouse. It needs a rubber wire protector to spread out the bending.
