aside from the guys u mentioned, winz seemed to play a solid game practically the entire weekend, after having heard nothing from him in a while :P

av3k is disappointment for me. he looked really strong befor duel, and he didnt go even to semifinal.


but biggest disapointment would b admins who made both tournaments single eli. i know its not exactly thier fault but still.

so what do u think admins should have done? just running quake seperately while cs, hon, sc2, sf are on an actual schedule? as far as i know, quake was the only game where 2 game modes were played, so if anything i think admins deserves credZ.

sc2 and cs are the 2 major tournaments at DH, rushing through them so that u can play a low focus game at prime time seems kinda moronic

but you know each game got its own computer set? no need to rush them lol

so you do think they should run quake seperately? big part of running tournaments at dreamhack is being able to show finals in dreamarena extreme (or whatever it was they call it)

Players in TDM: tox, linkin, mikes, evil, noctis and most importantly cooller's quad runs and dm20 skills.

If jibo had more hands like goro so he stopped dropping weapons, he would have won dm20 single handedly.

didn't catch much duel due to being capped @ work. offpeak though.. uncapped and tdm did not disappoint.

These guys did a lot better than expected, they could become a really really strong team with more practice it seems (if I was understanding zsx right on the stream, they didn't have a whole lot of practice).

that pretty much sums it up, although I don't think av3k fared particularly badly. he did look a lot stronger before the event, but it seemed to me like a lot of the top players were having issues aiming during the earlier stages. I didn't catch cooller vs av3k as I think cypher vs strenx(?) or something was being streamed at the same time, and, on that note, strenx clearly underperformed a lot more than av3k did .. it's cooller after all. but strenx got shit on by dahang, and nearly by amai.

players : not gonna go with the obvious ( toxjq ) so I'd say either silencep for the crazyness or winz for the really fucking solid games he's played.

team : dignitas. Fucking team of mercs played better than guys who've been playing together for years.

noctis, silencep, draven and strenx stood out as the players to watch from their teams

And the obvious, all of colwn.

CZM - because he is always awesome, even when he lose \o/. Great casting, great personality.

I would make Allstar team and let it fight against Colwn, consisting of Noctis, Cooller, Jibo, SilencepStrenx could be big ;-)

TDM tourney totally delivered! Great action.

TDM Top5:

#5 Winz - Wow what a performance, shut up the esr trolls, superb aim & great team-play.
#4 Cooller - On dm20 especially, what a beast, world class combat skills, a pleasure to watch.
#3 Noctis - R’s MVP of tourney, solid as always, superior map awareness, fantastic team play, some fantastic clutch shots.
#2 Toxic - Back to his best, perfect aim, great dodging, all-round monster.
#1 l1nkin - Just edges Tox to MVP of tourney, super-aggressive, dmg-heavy with amazing clutch play.

Notable mentions:
Stermy - Really nice tp, perfect rail, some key pup steals, solid all-round.
Avek - Amazing dodging, and combat skills, but as l1kin said, still makes some small mistakes, could be one of the very best with more tdm experience.
Silencep - Same solid aim heavy game that he plays online, nothing more.
Juvenile - Not a bad first lan performance, but far from the godlike player he is online, most of the players in the big teams out-classed him, will look to improve on next lan.
Strenx - Absolute monster vs the weaker teams but struggled to make an impact vs the strongest teams.

I somewhat agree with most. I don't agree with forgeting stermy though. Stermy was probably the best player imo and he did much more than just playing.
