To sum it up real fast : new ( free as always ) expansion introduced a few mechanisms supposed to help newer players get into the game ( aka a real avatar and some kind of shitty office / restroom in the station you're docked at ) -> code is even worse than ql as it constantly glitches and even crashes computers because these fuckheads don't understand anything about gpu throttling and your gpu overheating.
+ loadtimes are horrid, which doesn't please pvp players as they often have to dock and refit/change ship then get back on the field asap.

Same update introduced a store ( real money -> ingame money that only works in that store ) with retarded items that don't have any gameplay effect ( space barbie basically ) and some of them are overpriced ( 70bucks for a monocle derp ). Disregard this part, as it's the one that the medias seem to care the most about, as nobody actually gives a fuck about it.

Several internal documents/mails were leaked, revealing that items that would have an impact on gameplay would be sold in the near future + the company doesn't give a fuck and calls players morons.
This is something ccp was against a year ago, and they promised again they would not introduce anything that would have an impact on gameplay a few months ago.
The csm didn't know anything about any of that ( player constituted parliament basically, to discuss things with ccp ).

So basically, people started massing up in the trading hubs of the game to fuck the economy up : 1500 characters in a system = that node will lag to death and will deny entrance to everyone else, nobody can buy/sell anything on the player driven market. The pewpew part is only for the lulz.
There have also been around 6000 accounts unsubscribed as a protest, as recommended by several members of the csm who have been thoroughly dodged during the last few days by ccp. That's 6000*15bucks.
