how did you come up with the "couple grand per player on winning team" math?

lets say they do it cpl style and the price distributation is like this:
1- 500.000$
2- 250.000$
3- 125.000$
4- 60.000$
etc.

so winning team gets 500.000$, lets say 5 players per team. 100k per player! dunno about taxes but it shouldnt reduce it that much.

Well I was actually thinking 10-20 grand per player on the winning team, but I guess it'll be more than that. 100k per player would be suprising.

yeah it sucks, and I think this happened before with another realistic fps title, americas army? can't remember..

anyways, my price distribution is like the maximum payoff possible for 1st place so 100k would be the max, but its still possible. lets say its not 500k but 350k, that still amounts to 70k per player, and I doubt first place would be less then 350k

I lol @ everyones console angst. The level of play on the 360 for bo is suprisingly quite high. Don't get where everyones slating them for being console gamers. I for one think a million $ lan is amazing for any game regardless of platform.
