I wonder how is this mouse different from RAPTOR-GAMING LM3 and how is your pad different from P7/P3. The only difference I see is the DKT logo on it.

The difference between this mouse and the LM3 is virtually _everything_

The only thing that is the same is the shape itself.

Driverless, 500 hz out of the box, Different sensor, much better wheel, different finish, longer/cloth cord, 3 adjustable dpi optical settings, different feet on the bottom of the mouse...the list goes on.

Also, The P9 mouse mat is an entirely new surface for raptor-gaming

the shape seems comfortable and claw-able. if it doesn't have any major problem i might consider purchasing it.

Well the oem that makes all of those mice is A4Tech.

I highly doubt any of these have:

-Improved wheel. Doesn't shake around like on other OEM models
-Extra long cloth cord, extremely light, doesnt bother u
-500hz out of the box
-ADNS 3060 sensor with 3 dpi adjustments
-Giant improved gliding feet on the bottom
-New mat coating on the mouse, not glossy
-Improved button clicks on the side, not cheap feeling

This mouse is what those mice wish they were, trust me. And this shape feels amazing too, I prefer this over the 3.0 and the DA.

- small feet provide less contact with the pad -> faster glide. why large feet?
- a cloth cord..hm you mean a braided cable right? braided cables aren't very flexible. the best would be a non braided cable, thin (as in light)
- how much does a 3.0 weigh?
- 3060 has prediction. doesn't bother some (like you and me apparently) but some hate it. since noone has a problem without prediction a sensor without prediction would have been the way to go. the other specs of the 3060 are nothing to sneeze at ofc.

I'd be interested in this but I'm after a mouse without prediction. If it had the option to toggle prediction I would definitely check it out. I'm assuming like almost all sensors though that it doesn't. :(

So much "gamers" mouse, but they fail... they are to heavy and have prediction. I am borred using ie3..

Yeah... Every optical A4Tech has it.

While certainly not a bad thing, it does kinda make the 50$ pointless, if the A4Tech mouse with the same sensor costs 5 times less.

Also - i hate the rubber they use on the side. Just gets slippery when you sweat..

I highly doubt a4 mice have a better version with all the updates on this mouse, time will tell I guess. All I can say is I love using it, feels really good

I'm also hate prediction (technically, its bad option for gaming) but I still think its personal IN REALITY, prediction have a pro and a con:
Pro:
It can help you track the head if you and your opponent stay on the same level.

Ther are people who prefer it on for W:ET and CS1.6/CSS but off for Quake Live.

for example:
if you played CSS, on Dust2 if you're peeking from tunnel to B plat (with the stone crates), you can keep the crosshair just above the crates and only need to move it horizontally (prediction is good here) to hit the guy's head as soon as he stands up.

con- you probably have less control when flickshot with the right and left [tend to feel oversmooth/uncontroable] and the cursor wont feel exactly the same with up and down and right and left movement [Y axis to X Axis] and some notice it to mess up the tracking.

I'm just saying, again, I perfer prediction on for CS1.6 but for other games it just gameplay - killer and just destory the accurate.

What's the lift-off distance like on this? I like the look of it and prediction doesn't bother me in the slightest. I'm tempted to try this rather than buy another EC2, as I can't seem to find an EC2 for less than £60 anywhere, which I think is way overpriced.

To anyone worried about prediction, if you've tried mice with it and absolutely can't stand it then fair enough. However, if you're just reading people whine about it and hopping on the bandwagon with no experience of it yourself, I'd say you should at least try it if everything else about a mouse with it sounds good to you.

I felt the predition on the mx510 and Deathadder, even before i knew anything about prediction whatsoever.

Yeah but instead of trying all this new stuff, they should just remove prediction on proven sensors like the MX518. If the MX518 had no prediction, I would have bought a lifetime stash.

Seriously, like Mcfly mentioned, some of us even were annoyed by prediction even before we knew what it was. I remember getting annoyed by the MX518 complaining about something that felt like "mouse smoothing" before this prediction craze even began.

Hell, back when I was using a Xai, a mate of mine was using a Xai with prediction ON and even on the desktop I was like "wtf, your xai feels weird".

Though it's a fact that now we know what it is, we've become more nitpicky about it.
