Also, you should shoutcast more! Your casting was one of the things that got me interested in competitive Quake.

I stopped shoutcasting because I went full time at work and I didn't have much free time to help with lvl^ and what not also they had guys step up to the job which was great to see. As for my own competitions it was too much for me to run majority of an event (like the 1 day competition) and then have the energy to cast 5 or 6 games and I found myself very exhausted by the end.

The games linked above are the only games i've casted since this year so I am very rusty and didn't feel like a did very good job, but it comes with constant practice. Never the less I hope it was somewhat entertaining as the games were good fun to watch.

I'll see what I can do about the grand final date for the online comp but atm I am just trying to hurry and get it finished so I can give the winner the flights money, but reloaded will be all planed and scheduled with dates/times available for everybody should they intend on staying up or waking up to watch the LAN competition

Dandaking did pretty well at Quakecon. I can't remember where he finished, but he beat some decent international players.

And in all our aussie finals ventz and zlr only just lost out to dan in bo5's

You always sound so butthurt, need to be less bias. Yes, Dan is the only one who can play good, but with the lack of competition in your region, as I just said, he can't fight for a win :(

And yes, look how many mistakes zlr and ventz make. I bet someone like all +forward guard or pavel would just destory them both.

p.s. I've seen way too much duels, and played myself a lot, so don't even try to say those guys were 'decent'. Overall ventz is playing smarter game, just can't hit what he needs to win, while zlr is doing some ridiculous plasma/lg damage overaiming his opponent 90% of the time.
