I think that Goliathus Speed is the best choice if you don't want jitters.

My Abyssus jittered pretty hard in other pad I had here and it was jitter-free in Goliathus Speed at any position.

make sure if you get the abyssus LoL edition, also get the Goliathus speed alfa.

I used many hard pads before and they are better for high sensitivity players, because it has a lot less friction, now i changed to:
450dpi; 4.5 sens; 0.2 accel and 0.018 yaw and pitch and moved to a soft pad (goliathus speed alfa)

I recon it would be pretty hard to control my mouse on a hard pad with those settings. Also an hardpad will eat the mouse feet really fast, you can even notice black power on the side of your hand after a few hours of gameplay.

Pick goliathus (best mat for best tracking with the mouse), but you had better hope you get a good batch of abyssus' because if you don't, good luck with crazy jittering :) I had two that jittered to shit on a goliathus speed fragged edition so.

I have Abyssus LOL edition with ARTISAN KAI.G3 GAMING MOUSE PAD and it works perfectly, i even try to use QcK+ fnatic editon and few other pads and no jittering at all.Perfect mouse! :D

I can only buy locally and they don't have the LoL edition. I'll see how it turns out.

Dunno, depends on your mouse settings I guess.

With lowish sensitivity the jitter is incredibly annoying, so much so I can't really use it. With higher DPI's the jitter is still there but with somewhat higher sensitivity it's a bit more manageable...

Either way, I can't use it with the jitter. Just feels horrid

if you will buy one of regular ones make sure it says that is windows 7 (2010 abyssus) compatible on the bottom of the box and if not, it is one of the 2008 ones.

I've also been looking at the MX518. I've heard good things about it (minus the correction) but apparently it is over hyped. I claw grip though, so I am a little weary about the shape. How big of a con is correction in 1.6/css? Thoughts about this mouse?

mx518, good mouse. easy to claw but very heavy. correction is NOT A BIG DEAL. all this "does it have predicition loloolo or o iwont buy it ollloollolo" is retarded. if anything, for cs, you'd prefer correction due to a slight advantage for headshots or some shit.

looking to buy an abyssus..new ones still have jitter?

it tracks the abyssus exceptionally well, but ive found that other mice are useless on this pad.

some say the speed version is good but personally i do not like the feel of hard pads, so i go with the soft textured cloth.

I use Death Adder with goliathus control large size. I had a speed version but it gained to much friction after using it for like a month.

Yes.

Tracks just fine, no jitters whatsoever with abyssus. I'm happy with the combination, and cannot see myself switching to something else any time soon.
